If I am not covered by OHIP, may I still receive care?
Yes. Patients that are not covered by OHIP, residents of other provinces or countries, private patients, visitors to Canada and newcomers are welcome, however, will need to pay a flat rate which is posted under “Uninsured Services and Fees”
What payment methods do you offer?
- Credit Cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express
- Debit
- Cash: Exact cash only, our clinic does not carry any change
What other forms of coverage do you accept? Can you bill my insurance directly?
Yorkdale Medical accepts the following insurance upon receiving proof of valid coverage:
- OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan)
- Medavie Blue Cross
- IFH (Interim Federal Health Program)
- WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board)
We cannot directly bill to private insurances, however, patients can pay and keep their receipt to submit for reimbursement.
